Like many pet supply companies, Only Natural Pet began with a beloved dog who was in poor health.
It was 2002, and Only Natural Pet founder Marty Grosjean had just adopted Crinkles, a lab mix with many health issues. When conventional treatments failed to help, he wondered if a more natural lifestyle would make a difference.
He replaced Crinkles's junk food with an all-natural diet, and she began to look and feel like a healthy, happy dog.
From Online Retailer To Manufacturer
When Grosjean adopted Crinkles, finding all-natural pet food wasn't easy. He started Only Natural Pet in 2004 as an all-natural pet supply retailer where dog and cat parents could find healthy, holistic brands of food all in one place.
The company launched its own private label brand dog and cat food in 2014.

Meat Tops The Ingredients Lists
It's always a good idea to read the ingredients lists on the packaging of your dog's food. Here are the first few ingredients in three Only Natural Pet dog food recipes to get you started.
Red Meat Feast dry dog food: deboned lamb, lamb meal, pork meal, pea protein, peas, garbanzo beans, lentils... Lamb meal is a source of glucosamine and chondroitin. Peas and lentils are good sources of protein and fiber.
Stovetop Stew Braised Chicken And Liver: beef, lamb, beef broth, potato starch, green beans, kale, apples... Potato starch serves as a binding agent or thickener in wet dog food. Kale is a good source of copper, potassium, iron and vitamins A, C, and K. Apples provide vitamins A, C and K, calcium, potassium, fiber, omega fatty acids 3 and 6, and antioxidants.
