Revolution also redistributes from the bloodstream to the skin to protect your dog against adult fleas, scabies mites, ear mites, and American dog ticks and prevent flea eggs from hatching.
How to Apply Revolution to Your Dog
Hold the Revolution tube upright, and press down on its cap until you hear it click, indicating the cap has punctured the tube's seal. Remove the cap. Make sure that the tip of the applicator is open. Part your dog's hair at the base of her neck in front of her shoulder blades. Make sure your dog's skin is exposed. Place the applicator tip against your dog's skin, and squeeze out the tube's entire contents in one spot.
Do not apply Revolution when your dog is wet; apply to dry skin only. Do not apply Revolution to broken skin. Do not massage the liquid into your dog's skin. Refrain from bathing your dog for two hours after application. Bathing your dog two hours after application will not decrease Revolution's effectiveness against fleas and heartworm disease.
You may notice stiff hair, clumped hair, a slight powdery residue, or hair discoloration at the application site. These effects are temporary and do not interfere with the safety and effectiveness of Revolution.
Revolution may be irritating to human skin. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying Revolution to your dog.
