This medicine is a chewable, multi-purpose medicine that treats and/or prevents Heartworms, Hookworms, Roundworms, Whipworms, Tapeworms, and Fleas for your pet dog. Sentinel Spectrum’s tasty, meaty flavor will let you easily protect your pet against common pests and parasite infestations by giving them a chewy treat.
How it Works
Each chewable tablet contains drugs that are in the class called Parasiticides. Each dose contains 5.75 mg Milbemycin Oxime, 115 mg Lufenuron, and 57 mg Praziquantel.
What size dog can use Sentinel Spectrum?
The dosage in each chewable tablet is appropriate for Extra Small, Toy Breeds, and Small Breeds. For larger animals please consult your family veterinarian or animal health practitioner.
Product Instructions
Give your dog a delicious beef-flavored chew once per month, every month of the year for the prevention of Heartworms, Hookworms, Roundworms, Whipworms, Tapeworms, and Fleas. Dosage is based upon your dog’s weight.

Precautions
The following side effects have been reported in dogs after taking of milbemycin oxime, lufenuron, or praziquantel: vomiting, depression/lethargy, pruritus, urticaria, diarrhea, anorexia, skin congestion, ataxia, convulsions, salivation, and weakness. These side effects are rare. Some dogs have reactions that include vomiting and extreme salivation due to a reaction to dead and dying fleas. If your dog displays symptoms that are troubling to you after they ingested this product, please consult with your local animal health providers.
Before taking this or any other heartworm medication, your dog should be tested for heartworms. If the test were to be positive, the veterinarian may choose to treat the infection before administering preventive treatments. There are limitations to any heartworm treatment. If your pet has been exposed to mosquitoes in the last 6 months, it may not offer full protection.
Don’t use in puppies less than 6 weeks in age. This product has not been tested on pregnant or lactating dogs.
There are no known food or drug interactions with this product.
